Pork Chops with Balsamic
Cook time
Total time
Cuisine: Italian
Serves: 2
  • 2 bone-in pork loin chops
  • ¼ cup of white wine
  • 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar
  • salt and pepper
  1. Heat a high sided skillet with olive oil until sizzling. Season the pork chops well on both sides with salt and pepper. Place the pork chops into the skillet and sear on each side for 4 to 5 minutes until the chops are done but not overly done. Overly done pork chops dry out.
  2. When the chops have finish searing on both sides, remove them from the skillet. Add in ¼ cup of white wine and, using a wooden spoon, crape any brown bits of goodness that remains in pan. Add in 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar and mix together. Add the chops back into the pan and cook on medium heat for 1 more minute.
  3. Remove the pork chops to a serving plate and pour balsamic and wine sauce over them to dress.
  4. Serve with greens, kale, or other vegetable.
